The chakras are 'doorways' through which we perceive reality. The practice of Chakra Tuning gives you the keys to open all of the 'doorways' in your life, purifying your relationship to yourself, to others, and to the world around you. This energizing and inspiring practice is done through exploration of vinyasa yoga poses and mantras associated with each chakra.
This restorative yoga sequence involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Most restorative practices are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar.
In this workshop, we will begin with a brisk warm-up in the Vinyasa style to get the blood pumping, followed by detailed breakdowns of several arm balance and inversion poses. The sequencing is designed to challenge and inspire you. With a willingness to try something new, you will take your practice to the next level.
